TASMANIA’S LANDCARERS GET A BOOST! Just over $200,000 has been allocated to Landcare projects in the first round of the Tasmanian Landcaring Grants Program ‘from the Bush to the Beach’. Sixteen individual projects were funded from the fifty five applications received. Click here for the list of sucessful projects. President of the TLCA Lyndley Chopping congratulated all of the succesful applicants and said “The toughest challenge was selecting the most worthy recipients, as there were many well considered projects”.  Click here for more information. Would your group like to become a member of the TLCA? For an annual fee of $27.50 you can add your voice to the Tasmanian Community Landcare Movement and be eligible for up to $400 every year through the Landcare Assistance Program. To become a member for the 2010/2011 financial year click here.
